This silver bracelet is the first of the Vintage Collection.
The Secret Ladies is inspired by the centre piece, a silver vintage pendant which houses a picture of a young English lady seated on a bench in a garden, accompanied by a pretty little girl.
Who are they?
Is it a young mother with her little girl? Or are they sisters?
Can we ever unravel the secret, unlock the secret and reveal the truth?

When I saw them, I knew I had to buy them and make something out of them!
And tah-dah, here's the first pair of earrings I made for The BLING Escape: I Don't Give A Hoot!
Owls are fascinating animals and spectacular birds of prey. There are over two hundreds extant species of owls but people are mostly not familiar with this group of birds. When people think of beautiful birds, they will tend to think of peacocks or birds of paradise but owls are actually very beautiful birds as well! Just see the Snowy Owl on the right!Being mostly solitary and nocturnal, these birds are also very mysterious. Owls are also commonly associated with Wisdom. Remember the phrase "as wise as an owl"?
I used to think that owls could rotate their heads 360 degrees! That turned out to be a common misunderstanding. Owls can actually turn their heads 270 degrees (135 degrees on each side) so that they can look over their shoulders for danger. Fascinating, aren't they?

This is the first piece I've created for this new website and also the pioneering piece of the Flora Collection.
I have always like the feeling of gold with oriental pieces. The combination makes the entire accessory look classy, authentic and exotic at the same time. Which is why when I first spotted the pretty peach-coloured metal flattened beads with lovely flowers trimmed with gold endings, I knew that I had to pair them with brilliant yellow Swarovski crystals and a 14K goldfilled chain. The resulting piece, The Chinese Princess, is simply what I've aimed for. :)
